The students of the Democritus University of Thrace have access to various e-services using their Institution account. Certain of these services are available to all higher education students in Greece. Other services are available only to DUTH students.

Some main e-services available to all higher education students in Greece are the following:

E-service Eudoxus for managing coursebooks (http://eudoxus.gr). It enables students to search for and select coursebooks for the courses they have enrolled in.

E-service for submitting an application to issue an academic ID card (https://submit-academicid.minedu.gov.gr/).

Web-based storage (https://okeanos.grnet.gr/home/). The e-service Okeanos is provided by the GRNET (National Infrastructures for Research and Technology) and offers Web-based storage accessible anywhere.

E-service for Transfers to relevant Departments in other Greek Institutions. A transfer application may be submitted by the eligible registered higher education students who are in the first years of their studies (https://transfer.it.minedu.gov.gr)

E-services specifically available to DUTH students are the following:

E-Secretariat (Universis): Web-based selection of courses, access to course grades, online applications for certifications. Universis is available in https://students.duth.gr.

Wireless access to the Internet in the installations of the School of Education Sciences (Library of the School, New Building of the School, Cafeteria of the School).

Asynchronous support for the taught undergraduate and post-graduate courses through the e-platform Open Eclass (http://eclass.duth.gr).

E-service for submitting applications for free meals in University restaurants and housing (https://estia.duth.gr).

Synchronous e-learning (Web conference) using the MS Teams platform (https://itc.duth.gr/msteams/).

E-service providing access to the Institution’s data network through a Virtual Private Network (VPN). It enables users to remotely access services (e.g., content of publishers) without being physically present in the installations of the Institution.
