Science Teaching and Learning in Early Childhood

The course aims to analyze contemporary issues concerning the teaching and learning of sciences in early
childhood including pupils’ alternative conceptions of phenomena and concepts of science within the
constructivist theory. It also aims to get students familiar with pedagogical strategies and methods for the
development of the scientific method and the scientific skills. The module aims to help students for the
implementation of sciences issues in early childhood education.
