Puppet Theatre for Children

Types of performances for children. Theatre for children and the relationship of theatrical texts to their time. From the text to the performance: techniques and their application, role analysis, rules and codes of stage interpretation and performance. Examples of activities: expression and creativity through imitation and pantomime, voice exercises and use of breathing, improvisations and role-playing, creation of an action environment, puppet construction, method of writing a short theatrical text for children.

Aesthetic Education
The course attempts to introduce the basic elements of Visual Design (Point-Line-Shape-Plane-Color-Space-Composition) in an experiential and playful way, so that students can learn the alphabet of visual language and can freely create their own visual works.
The students’ contact with important art movements and works of art from various periods in history offers them knowledge and examples for the use of Visual Language in different eras. The experiential approach to the works offers direct contact, interpretation and understanding, and acts as a source of inspiration for their own visual play.
The acquisition of skills through the students’ acquaintance with various painting techniques, tools, media and materials, and how they can organize and implement a workshop at school, equips them with supplies for teaching practice. Understanding the language of drawing and its development during childhood, as well as the importance of children’s drawing in understanding the psyche of children, is another asset for tomorrow’s early childhood educators.
